Ikenomics was founded by Daniel Ikenson, who has worked with businesses for over three decades, helping them understand, navigate, and shape international trade rules, while also influencing U.S. and global trade policies as a Washington think tanker. 

Ikenson has published scores of papers, articles, books, and book chapters, and given testimony before congressional committees and federal agencies on a variety of topics. He has broad and deep experience researching, analyzing, writing, speaking, advising, and debating the merits of economic policies for audiences, including media, policymakers, business executives, diplomats, economists, students, and the general public.

Over the years, Dan has cultivated an insider’s understanding of the offices, institutions, and processes that matter most to the formulation of trade and other public policies, while building strong professional relationships with experts in academia, public policy, and the business community, whom he calls upon to collaborate, when appropriate, on client projects.
